Highland Springs Municipal Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Rock Island, Illinois.

This William James Spears' designed golf course opened in 1965

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,777 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,979 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 556 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 163 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, a 556 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 12, a 358 yard par-4.

The course has rolling terrain and open fairways. Numerous sand bunkers have been strategically placed throughout the course. In addition, water hazards come into play on at least five holes.

On this trip we played TPC Deer Run, Brown Deer, & Finkbine as well. Highland Springs had the best greens. Very forgiving & playable course for a bogey golfer as myself
